A leading multi-disciplinary design firm is looking to add a Contract Administrator to their team. This collaborative group brings together architects, designers, engineers, planners, and sustainability specialists to deliver projects that focus on community wellbeing and urban vibrancy. Location - Hybrid. Office is Centertown West. Please note that travel is required to project sites within the NCR
Salary - $85,000 - $98,000

The Role

As a Contract Administrator, you’ll play a key role in project delivery, including:

  • Leading small to medium projects with minimal supervision, managing scope, consultants, and coordination.
  • Preparing design and contract documents.
  • Coordinating drawings across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Conducting site reviews to ensure compliance with construction documents.
  • Liaising with contractors, clients, and stakeholders during construction.
  • Preparing and managing change documents (CD/PCN/CO).
  • Monitoring contract progress and resolving design/technical issues with senior support.
  • Completing field reviews to maintain design intent.

What You Bring

  • Degree/diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Construction Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Contract Administration in the AEC industry.
  • Hands-on experience with field reviews, RFIs, submittals, and contract change management.
  • Strong knowledge of building technologies, codes, and legislation (e.g., Building Code, Lien Legislation).
  • Skilled in Revit, BIM 360, and preparation of construction documents.
  • Ability to travel to site regularly and obtain Government of Canada Reliability Security Clearance.

Assets (nice-to-have):

  • LEED certification.
  • Familiarity with contract forms (CCDC 5A/5B) and contractor software (Procore, Prolog, Fieldwire, etc.).
  • Microsoft Office, Power BI.
  • Experience with DP/BP submissions and responding to Authority comments.
  • Bilingual (English/French).
