Senior Project Coordinator High Rise

Hays Construction & Development is partnered with a long-time GC partner to recruit for the role of Senior Project Coordinator in central Ottawa! This is a major High Rise development that is currently underway.

Your new role

As a Project Coordinator, your day-to-day job will be to support Project Managers with scheduling, documentation, and progress tracking. You will additionally coordinate subcontractors, RFIs, and change orders and sometimes deal directly with clients.

You must be able to maintain accurate records for budgets, timelines, andpliance and also assist with site meetings and ensure smoothmunication between stakeholders. This can be a fast-paced, demanding environment that will require your utmost attention to detail everyday!

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this job you must have at least 5-7 years of previous experience in High Rise construction builds, ideally in the local area, so you have a strong knowledge of local trades. You must have strong organizational andmunication skills and be very familiar with MS Project, Procore, or similar platforms.

In addition, strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and safety standards is required.
