Job Description:

Load, unload and transport construction materials

Mix, pour and spread materials

Assist heavy equipment operators

Assist in in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites

Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs

Level earth to fine grade specifications

Pave and rake asphalt

Assist in demolishing buildings

Clean and pile salvaged materials

Perform routine maintenance work Remove rubble and other debris at constructions sites

Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Read and interpret blueprints

Requirements:

Education:

No formal education is required.

Experience:

Experience is an asset. On-the-job training is provided.

Construction machinery and equipment knowledge is an asset.

Salary: $22.00 hourly, 30 - 37.5 hours per week Benefits:
Dental Plan, Health Care plan, and Vision care benefits provided (we will pay 50% of premium coverage). Accommodation provided at a cost. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. We will facilitate the transportation among work locations, if needed.

Important information:
Flexibility on schedule is required. The candidate will work from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM including 30 minutes of unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid coffee break. Overtime may be required based on the business needs. We guarantee at least 30 hours of work per week regardless of the weather. Weekend work may be required based on the business needs.
