You are an experienced Senior Cost Consultant with 5‑10 years post‑graduate experience in cost planning and estimating, looking for the next step or currently in a similar role and ready to join a growing, dynamic team.

• Preparing construction cost estimate reports at all stages of design for education, healthcare, residential, corporate occupier and commercial projects.
• Managing estimating and cost planning activities, taking ownership and presenting the final cost plan/estimate.
• Applying Value Management techniques at the outset of a project and where appropriate.
• Ensuring that cost analysis, cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively.
• Participating in Value Engineering, LEED analysis and life‑cycle costing.
• Leading a cost management team and interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Researching construction market conditions across Canada, including analysis of official published data.
• Managing commissions and participating on basic project and financial management responsibilities such as free tracking, invoice preparation, etc.

• 5‑10 years’ experience delivering pre‑construction and post‑contract construction cost services.
• A recognized university degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Membership of relevant professional organizations such as the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS), The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and/or the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE).
• Knowledge of and experience using CostX is an asset.

The base salary range for this full‑time role is $95,000 - $145,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
