Construction Labourer

Staffmax is helping our client hire hardworking Construction Labourers for a 3-month contract. This role involves physically demanding work on commercial or residential construction sites and is suited for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn.

Contract Length: 3 Months

Location:

Ottawa, ON

Key Responsibilities:

· Load and unload construction materials

· Assist skilled trades with tools, equipment, and site tasks

· Operate basic hand tools and small machinery

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

· Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE

· Perform demolition, setup, or cleanup as needed

· Report hazards and equipment issues to supervisors

Requirements:

· Previous construction or general labour experience preferred

· Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work outdoors

· Must have CSA-approved steel-toe boots

· Reliable, punctual, and a team player

· Ability to follow directions and maintain a safe work environment
