Architect - Senior

Job Summary:

The Senior Architect will work closely with project team members and clients, and will be responsible for leading the design and management of large-scale, complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in architecture, as well as extensive professional experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of architectural designs and plans for large-scale, complex projects Create detailed drawings and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software Conduct research on building materials, codes, and regulations Collaborate with project team members, including engineers and contractors, to ensure project success Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders Participate in site visits and inspections Review and evaluate building designs for compliance with codes, standards, and specifications Manage project documentation and schedules Mentor and manage junior and intermediate team members Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders Contribute to the development of presentations and proposals Represent the firm in professional organizations and industry events

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field;
Master's degree preferred 10+ years of relevant work experience, including experience leading large-scale, complex projects Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and lead others Expert knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong leadership, mentoring, and management skills Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders Internal Job Code: AR-AR-04 Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000 / Annually
