Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the MEP team, of the Buildings sector, based in the Ottawa, ON office. Reporting to the Department Manager, the successful applicant will be joining a diverse engineering group in Central Canada poised for growth and challenging opportunities well into the future.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Under the supervision of senior mechanical engineers or project manager, produce design packages including schematic diagrams, floor plans, equipment room layouts and schedules.Under the supervision of senior mechanical engineer or project manager, prepare concept reports, meeting minutes, specifications and contract administration documents.Conduct site surveys for existing conditions as required.Perform mechanical system design calculations as required.Obtain information on equipment from suppliers and select equipment with input from senior designers.Attend site meetings during construction with a senior staff member.Contribute to all aspects of system level design and assist with other general tasks when needed.What your experience looks like
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or equivalent degree.2 years of experience in consulting engineering.Registered with PEO as an EIT.AutoCAD experience required and REVIT MEP proficiency.Attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) products.About the company
