Leading cost, project management, risk advisory, and software firm has an immediate opening for several Associate Directors within the Cost Planning division in Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver.

  • 1 x Associate Director, with infrastructure experience such as highways, bridges, and rail. Salary: $140k - $180k
  • 1 x Senior Cost Consultant, with infrastructure experience such as highways, bridges, and rail. Salary: $120k - $140k

Outpost Recruitment is excited to collaborate with our client on this full-time, permanent role. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end service delivery and act as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring client objectives are met through delivering value-added services. You may be a highly experienced Senior Cost Consultant with a minimum of 8 years post-graduate experience seeking the next step, or currently in an Associate Director role and looking to join a thriving consultancy.

Objectives:
  • Lead a cost management team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality estimates to clients
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients
  • Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities
  • Lead proposals for new work or variations for existing projects
  • Attend networking events and promotional opportunities
  • Manage staff, including recruitment and performance reviews
  • Oversee financial management, tracking margins, and fee/resource forecasts
  • Produce real estate estimates in the CIQS elemental format, from class D to class A
Education/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and estimating
  • Recognized university degree
  • Certification in professional organizations (CIQS/RICS)
  • Ability to obtain Canadian government security clearance (reliability level)
  • Proficient in producing real estate estimates in the CIQS elemental format
  • Experience in quality assurance for estimates
