Responsibilities:
Remedial building envelope design, preparation of specifications/drawings, construction budget estimates, and contract administration.
Site inspection review of new construction and building rehabilitation projects.
Visual and destructive investigations to produce technical engineering reports.
Building envelope assessments, building condition assessments, roof condition assessments, reserve fund studies and performance testing.
Technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technologists.
Various other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
3-year (Advanced) diploma in Architectural Technology.
7+ years of relevant work experience, including on-site inspections and reporting services.
Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, engineers, architects, and co-workers.
Effective organizational and time management skills, for concurrent handling of multiple in-progress projects.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
Proficiency using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
