Senior Cost Consultant – Job Description
As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will be involved in:
- Managing a budget of one or many Packages on a major rehabilitation program
- Post-contract cost management including forecasting, change management, cost reconciliations, cost reporting
- Undertaking Value management
- Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff
- Support research related to construction market conditions throughout Canada, including analysis of official published data
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cost management
- A recognized university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Membership of Relevant Professional Organizations such as the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS);
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) - Reliability clearance with the Government of Canada or ability to obtain it
- Knowledge of and experience using CostX is an asset

The base salary range for this full-time role is $95,000 - $145,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range based on experience and qualifications.
