Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist
We are growing and searching for Audiologists and Hearing Instrument Specialists to join our team in Ottawa. These are permanent full-time positions with typical hours of work Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm local time.
Part of the WSAudiology group, Hear Canada bolsters a world-class team of hearing care professionals who share a passion for providing Wonderful Sound for All. We are seeking dedicated hearing care professionals to deliver an exceptional client experience throughout the hearing journey.
What You Will Do- Provide standardized hearing evaluations and a high standard of client care
- Make product recommendations and educate clients on product usage and features
- Follow up with clients to ensure needs are met
- Stay informed about new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make meaningful recommendations
- Build relationships with clients to ensure appropriate post-care solutions
- Collaborate with clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound calls
- Graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program
- Unrestricted ability to practice in the Audiology field and registrant of CASLPO or AHIP in good standing
- Working knowledge of hearing health care products and services with diagnostic/dispensing experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish professional rapport with clients and team members
- Comfortable making product and service recommendations and providing patient-centric education
- Experience with WSA brands (Widex, Signia, and/or Rexton) is an asset but not required
- French and English bilingualism is an asset but not required
- Annual base earnings $75,000 - $100,000 with an attractive variable compensation program; total package potential of $125,000+
