As a Bilingual Physiotherapist
, you will assess and determine patient care needs and eligibility, provide access and referrals to community services, and engage with patients, caregivers and other health care practitioners. What will you do?

• Provides physiotherapy services to Ontario Health AtHome Champlain patients through initial assessment, identification of problems, establishment of goals and treatment plans, implementation of physio treatment, follow-up and management of patient’s condition.
• Establishes priorities and treatment goals with respect to identified problems and develops methods of achieving these goals.
• Ensures that clinical records are maintained in accordance with Ontario Health AtHome Champlain Policies and Procedures and the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
• Schedules patient visits according to Physiotherapy priorities.
• Functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and maintains liaison with other health care professionals.
• Acts as an education and resource person for other health care professionals.
• Participates in committees as approved.
• Partakes in professional development activities and maintains knowledge and ability in the realm of physiotherapy.
• Maintains supplies and recommends equipment for department use within budget limitations.
• Interprets the role and objectives of the Ontario Health AtHome Champlain Physiotherapy Program in the community.

Hours of work: 8:30am-4:30pm – Monday to Friday

FTE: 1.0

Starting Salary: $44,480 to $51,340

What must you have?

• Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy and current certificate of registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Related professional experience which would normally be attained over a period of two years in a Physiotherapy role
• Related experience in a similar community-based setting is an asset
• Current CPR-C certificate
• We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy. As a condition of employment, all employees are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination status prior to start date.
