Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist

We are looking for an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team at the Ottawa General Hospital, Ottawa, ON. This is a permanent, full‑time position (Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑4:30 pm local time).

What You Will Do
  • Provide standardized hearing evaluations and a high standard of client care, making product recommendations and educating clients on usage
  • Stay abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to provide meaningful recommendations
  • Build relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care and post‑care solutions
  • Collaborate with clinic team members to support walk‑in clients and inbound calls
What We Are Looking For
  • Graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program
  • Unrestricted ability to practice in the Audiology field and registration with your provincial governing body in good standing
  • Working knowledge of hearing health care products and services with diagnostic/dispensing experience
  • Excellent communicator who can establish professional and individualized rapport with clients and team members
  • Comfortable making product and service recommendations and providing patient‑centric education to ensure product adoption
  • Experience with WSA brands (Widex, Signia, and/or Rexton) would be a definite asset, though not required
