This position is located in Ottawa
. As a Field Technician II, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining laptop, desktop, and printer support for end users and clients. A valid passport, driver's license, and a vehicle are required. The role also requires eligibility for a Top‑Secret level government security investigation.

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information, including rights, security, and system groups.
• Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders, and replaces parts as needed.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
• Works under general supervision.
• Demonstrates a certain degree of creativity and latitude.
• Provides deskside software support.
• Executes high‑end printer and multi‑function laser component level repair.
• Performs server component level hardware repair and software restore.
• Handles network device replacement/configuration.
• Conducts basic network troubleshooting.
• Executes Smart Hands tasks.

• Requires experience in the field or a related area, familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Able to perform call‑management in a Real‑Time‑Reporting environment.
• Capable of working independently and with limited supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
