UX Design Lead
Must have Security clearance or be eligible to be granted one before starting
CGI is seeking a UX Design Lead to shape and guide design work across complex, multi-team digital initiatives. Some features will incorporate AI-enabled or adaptive behaviour, and you will help ensure clarity and usability across the full experience.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Define the UX vision and overall design direction for the engagement.
. Create flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction patterns for a wide range of user tasks.
. Ensure design consistency through shared patterns and design systems.
. Provide leadership, coaching, and review for other designers.
. Facilitate design workshops and support alignment among stakeholders.
. Collaborate with researchers to test and refine early concepts, including those that involve system-generated or adaptive behaviour.
. Work with technical teams to translate design into implementation.
. Apply inclusive and accessible design principles.
. Stay up to date with evolving design trends, UX best practices, and emerging technologies (e.g., designing for AI)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Minimum 7 years of UX design experience, including work on complex or multi-workflow products.
. Proficiency with Figma and modern design tools.
. Strong interaction-design skills and ability to communicate decisions clearly.
. Awareness of how AI-enabled features can influence design patterns, user expectations, and transparency requirements.
. Skilled facilitator in multi-stakeholder environments.
. Experience in agile and iterative delivery contexts.
. Deep understanding of accessible and inclusive design.
