Our valued client is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to drive operational efficiency, enhance reporting accuracy, and align technology solutions with evolving business needs for a financial services client
.
1 year contract. % remote (Eastern Time Zone hours).
Tasks include:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, testers, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-impact solutions across multiple domains such as financial systems, investment reporting, and corporate accountingSolution Delivery & Stakeholder EngagementLead business analysis efforts for an investments management platform, including troubleshooting, reporting, and team alignment.Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and iterative product refinement.Facilitate alignment meetings and support requirement discovery, development, and testing.Strategic Planning & OKR DevelopmentContribute to the development of team-level Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), aligning initiatives with broader organizational goals.System Upgrades & Vendor CoordinationSupport upgrade testing activities and coordinate issue resolution with vendors.Collaborate with business lines to define and execute effective test strategies.Business Requirements & Solution DesignDefine and validate business requirements for various software enhancements to meet evolving business needs.Guide development teams to ensure solutions meet business expectations and compliance standards.Investment Data & Corporate ReportingProvide expert analysis on investment data inconsistencies and reporting challenges.Collaborate with IT architects to support strategic planning and roadmap development.Help business units visualize root causes and recommend actionable solutions.Agile Practices & Continuous ImprovementAdapt and refine Agile and business analysis practices to align with organizational culture and governance.Promote best practices in requirement gathering, stakeholder engagement, and solution deliveryIdentify and assess business needs.Create user stories and clear acceptance criteria in ADOCollaborate with team and triage problem tickets and bugsWork closely with development team on solutioning and RCASupport the user with their User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional troubleshootingCoordinate deployment documentation and approvalsMust have
Skills:
5+ years experience Business Analysis within financial services or investment management
.Strong understanding of risk models, financial reporting, and corporate accounting systems
.Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaborationNice to Have
Skills:
Knowledge of PowerBI
