This role involves designing and implementing automation strategies, mentoring team members, and collaborating with clients to deliver high-quality testing solutions.
The candidate will be required to occasionally work on-site with our client in Ottawa.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement a Tosca automation strategy and framework
Mentor team members on Tosca best practices and processes
Identify and document defects during test execution using defect tracking tools
Collaborate with clients to prioritize testing activities
Analyze test results to identify issues and propose solutions
Provide expert consulting and guidance on test automation implementation
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Tosca Test Suite, including framework design, module creation, and scripting
Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation
Proficiency in writing API tests using Postman7+ years of experience in test automation across at least three projects or roles
Experience with at least two automation tools
Strong communication and consulting skills
Self-motivated with excellent time management and attention to detail
Continuous learner, adaptable to new tools and industry best practices
Preferred:
Experience with Playwright and Type Script Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops, and unit testing
Experience testing web and enterprise applications
Exposure to mobile testing environments (iOS and Android)
