UX Researcher
Government of Canada security clearance is required
CGI is seeking a UX Researcher to support discovery and help shape product decisions across complex digital solutions, including features that incorporate evolving technologies.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Conduct interviews, usability tests, and other research activities to understand user needs.
. Produce research outputs such as personas, problem statements, and journey maps.
. Evaluate early concepts and prototypes, including those that involve dynamic or system-generated responses.
. Summarize insights and present them to mixed audiences.
. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and technical teams to ensure findings guide design decisions.
. Apply inclusive and accessible research practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 3–5 years of UX research experience.
. Experience studying complex products or workflows.
. Awareness of how AI-enabled or automated features can affect usability, trust, and comprehension.
. Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
. Clear communication skills.
. Familiarity with agile, iterative delivery.
