Position: Intermediate Business Systems Analyst to support a standards management project for a non-profit client
Our valued non-profit client is seeking an Intermediate Business Systems Analyst to support a standards management project!
Initial 6-month contract opportunity with strong possibility of extension / conversion to permanent full-time. Hybrid on-site in Ottawa, ON (1 day/week on-site). 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
As the successful candidate, you will work alongside Developers, Technical Architects, Third-Party Vendors, and Client Groups to translate business requirements into technical solution requirements. You will support two core projects - with your time split between supporting:
A standards management project, leveraging Sharepoint, Power Apps, and Power AutomateThe implementation of Docebo (a Learning Management System)Responsibilities:
Collaborates closely with client groups and technical partners to elicit and document business requirements for technical solutions.Provides a bridge between the business requirements and the technical definition of the system to ensure proper translation of business requirements to technical solution requirementsManages and maintains business requirements and design information from inception to retirement to ensure validity and accuracy.Establishes meaningful relationships between related requirements and designs to verify that the proposed solution meets the defined needs of the client groups.Identifies solution options that meet business needs and estimates the potential value that could be realized for each solution option to confirm that the proposed solutions are optimal.Develops and maintains test plans and test cases to ensure that the solutions function as designed.Acts as a Lead for user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet user requirements and are properly signed-off prior to promotion to a Production environment.Performs Systems Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure new and existing system components are working as expected before UATProvides Level 2 or Level 3 application-specific support, including troubleshooting and configuration and changes to settings, to the user community as defined by service level objectives.Must-have
Skills:
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems AnalystDemonstrated experience supporting projects leveraging Sharepoint, Power Apps, and/or Power AutomateProven experience supporting projects involving API integrations, web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and RESTful services.Experience working within agile development environments and using tools like Azure Dev Ops.Nice-to-Have Skills
Excellent communication skills in FrenchDemonstrated experience working with LMS administration and development, preferably with Docebo.Strong understanding of learning technology ecosystems and SCORM/xAPI standards.Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP)Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, IIBA-AAC)Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) Certification
