Team Overview

The Marketing Strategy and Effectiveness (MSE) team, part of the Chief Operations Group, supports the Brand, Demand Generation, Customer Experience, Analytics, Martech, and Web Experience teams. The Manager Marketing Operations will lead the Operations and Martech teams and drive efficiency and effectiveness across the marketing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee marketing technology (Mar Tech) management: support critical business objectives, drive innovation, administer and integrate the marketing technology stack.
  • Contribute to the marketing department’s strategic plan, operationalize the integrated marketing plan, and align it with corporate strategy.
  • Design, implement, and refine operational workflows, identify automation opportunities, reduce friction between teams, and manage risk and compliance with best practices.
  • Plan and execute scaled marketing initiatives; manage priorities, dependencies, data accuracy, consistent branding, and customer experience.
  • Maintain reporting in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) to provide real-time visibility to marketing initiative status.
  • Oversee Marketing Operations and Martech team backlogs, ensuring work prioritization meets MSE year‑end objectives.
  • Measure and demonstrate continuous operational efficiency improvements; analyze marketing performance metrics, generate reports, and ensure data integrity for strategic decision‑making.
  • Provide visibility to leadership on resource allocation and recommend where to maintain investments and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless project delivery and alignment on goals.
  • Build a high‑performing team and healthy workplace culture; manage ongoing education and competency development.
What We Are Looking For
  • 7 years of operations experience (preferably in marketing) and at least 3 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Proven experience operationalizing marketing plans and translating strategic goals into executional roadmaps.
  • Strategic and analytical skills; ability to think critically, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Results orientation, understanding of marketing initiatives, campaigns, lead flow, and funnel optimization.
  • Hands‑on technical proficiency with key tools such as Salesforce, Asana, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Project and process management skills; organizational ability to manage complex projects with many dependencies.
  • Leadership and communication skills; excellent written and verbal communication, ability to lead cross‑functional teams and mentor juniors.
  • Problem‑solving: proactive identification of opportunities for improvement and resolution of operational challenges.
  • Bilingual in both official languages (English and French) – minimum speaking proficiency (Level B2).
