Position: Junior General Clerk - Contract - 18718
About the Opportunity

Public Sector client is seeking three Junior General Clerks to support a critical digitization initiative. This engagement supports the preservation, quality control, and organization of historical imagery in accordance with Library and Archives Canada standards.

This is a hands-on, on-site role contributing to a high-volume national records initiative within a structured federal environment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Enter data from audio-visual and electronic tapes into a database, including cataloguing, indexing, and classifying information

Perform quality control on digitized tapes to ensure accuracy, completeness

Identify content management issues and provide recommendations for improvements to management

Maintain organized and searchable records in the database for easy retrieval

Move boxes of tape from floor to chest height

Repeatedly lift, up to 50 lbs. unassisted

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:

Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant work experience

Experience entering, cataloguing, indexing, or classifying information in a database environment

Experience performing quality control to ensure accuracy and completeness of records

Experience identifying content management issues

Experience maintaining organized and searchable records

English Essential

Valid security clearance at a minimum level of Reliability Status clearance is required
