MAINTENANCE AIDE

Position:
Maintenance Aide Part Time

Reports to the Environmental Services Manager

Southbridge Care Homes is looking for Maintenance Aidewho can functions as a “resident advocate” for our London, ON location. On a daily basis, the Maintenance Aidewill be responsible for specific operations related to mechanical, electrical and maintenance departments. Our Maintenance Aide will be the first point of contact from the management side for our client’s side for any concerns related to the facilities of the home.

As a Maintenance Aide, you will be accountable for…

• Provide support in the maintenance department, painting operations of the home, general upkeep, as well as making sure everything is as per the company standards.
• Assist with the property maintenance including exterior duties including snow removal property lightning, garbage, and other general operations.
• Other duties as required.

• Post-Secondary Certificate in Skill trades or related program or high level of experience.
• One year or more of experience in a similar position with working knowledge of electrical and mechanical home operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to multitask, time management and can work independently.
• Ability to prioritize work and must be able to work in fast paced environment.
