Primaris REIT is currently hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic Maintenance Worker to join our team at our Place D’Orleans Shopping Centre in Orleans, ON. If you have an ability to diagnose issues, identify solutions and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this exciting opportunity is perfect for you!

• Performing daily property inspections and promptly reporting repair needs
• Conducting minor property repairs and maintenance tasks including but not limited to HVAC, dry walling, painting, landscaping, basic plumbing & electrical
• Ensuring property safety and respond to tenant concerns
• Maintaining property cleanliness and curb appeal
• Collaborating with fellow team members and contractors, providing excellent customer service, and assisting in coordinating work with stakeholders

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required, college diploma an asset
• 1 year experience in a similar field
• Knowledge of a trade or HVAC, etc. an asset
• Ability to operate power tools & equipment
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic PC skills
• CPR and First Aid certification an asset

• Communicate clearly, concisely, professionally and convey active listening and openness
• Build positive relationships and demonstrate commitment, effort and a "take charge" attitude
• Produce accurate work with attention to detail and consistently meet deadlines
• Take ownership for actions, accept constructive criticism and make the necessary changes to behavior
