Who We AreCanadian Linen & Uniform Service Corp., a Vestis company, provides uniforms and related products to over 300,000 customers across North America. We handle everything from designing and manufacturing to laundering and delivering, creating total uniform solutions that promote teamwork and professional identity.
The RoleThe ideal candidate will be cross-trained to perform various tasks, including receiving and sorting laundry, inspecting garments for mending needs, operating equipment such as dryers and ironers, and bundling clean garments for redistribution.
Responsibilities:- Attendance is essential.
- Work safely and efficiently in assigned production areas.
- Assist teammates by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying materials, cleaning work areas, and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work assigned shifts; attendance is required.
- Basic math reasoning skills.
- Lifting ability: 25-50 pounds continuously;
Push/Pull: up to 150 pounds with assistance. - Ability to stand, walk, or sit for 8-10 hours.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating temperatures and noise, following safety standards.
- Prior experience in industrial laundry or production preferred.
- Ability to understand work instructions in English preferred.
Roles include Soil Operations, Dry Fold, Garments, Mending, Mat, Iron Operations, Bundling, and Wash Aisle, focusing on quality, teamwork, and attendance.
