Registered Practical Nurse

** Job Description
** In this community nursing role, you as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will have scheduled visits within the community to care for patients in various settings with the support of RNs for more complex patients. You will work with patients of all ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable in their homes for as long as possible.

** Job Requirements*** ## Valid driver’s license (Class G or G2), access to a dedicated vehicle is required and valid car insurance* ## Current and valid CPR certificate* ## Experience in delivering community care is an asset* ## Reliability and flexibility* ## Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area* ## Passion for making a difference in your community* ## Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs* ## Nursing degree or required education mandatory for CNO licensure* ## Registration with the CNO as a Registered Nurse in good standing* ## Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen* ## Negative TB Test* ## Fluent proficiency in written and verbal English
