Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse with one (1) year of experience to join the team in Petawawa, Ontario. The successful RPN/LPN provides services to patients on a walk‑in and appointment basis in various primary and ambulatory care settings such as the Care Delivery Unit (CDU), treatment room, and specialty clinic.

Hourly Compensation Rate: $40

The successful applicant will provide direct patient care under the direction of physicians, Registered Nurses, and/or other healthcare providers.

• COVID screening prior to patients entering the clinic
• Assistance with vaccinations
• Conducting patient history and physical assessments
• Performing selected diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Counseling patients on preventive health care

The LPN shall possess, as a minimum, one (1) full‑time equivalent year of experience within the last 3 years in nursing practice conducting patient assessments and providing direct nursing care for a broad range of diseases in the adult population in a primary care or ambulatory care setting.

• Graduated from a Practical Nursing Program approved by Council of the College of Nurses
• Current and valid license from the provincial or territorial professional college or association in the province of practice
• Certificate of Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent such as Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPR/AED) Level C

• Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within 2 years)
• Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within 2 years)
