Part‑Time Sales Associate – Famous Footwear (Canada)

Deliver an outstanding retail experience as a Famous Footwear Sales Associate
. Provide a welcoming environment, share shoe knowledge, and create loyal customers.

• Ensure daily operations (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, inventory) keep the store running smoothly.
• Champion Famous culture and deliver stellar customer engagement, offering top‑notch experiences.
• Set and achieve sales goals, communicate clearly with the team, and apply an active listening approach.
• Act with integrity, comply with company policies, seek feedback, and pursue professional development.
• Promote diversity and inclusivity, support teammates, and help with training and development.
• Leverage shoe expertise to recommend perfect styles and ensure customers leave with the right fit.

Other responsibilities may be performed as needed to meet the business needs. Overtime may be required.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
• Positive communication with associates at all levels.
• Independent judgment and discretion when needed.
• Strong knowledge of retail practices.
• Effective teamwork skills.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

• Regularly lift up to 40 lbs from floor to above shoulder height with proper equipment.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
