On behalf of our IT industry client, Procom is searching for a Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Front End Focus) for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Montreal or Ottawa office.

Join the Business Solutions Engineering team to develop the next generation of software applications that enable our clients to achieve its strategy. This role involves guiding a team of developers, specializing in front-end architecture, and contributing to the development and maintenance of our clients business platforms.

Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Front End Focus) - Responsibilities:

• Complete complex application development projects by following the SDLC, from business requirements to deployment and support in production.

• Guide and advise a team of developers by providing mentoring, guidance, and knowledge sharing.

• Interface with the client community to determine their system needs and document business processes.

• Author technical specification documents and diagrams for our clients’s platforms and custom applications.

• Develop logical and physical system models and prepare well-written analysis documents or program specifications.

• Design logically sound, readily maintained program structures based on program specifications.

• Be an active member of the Frontend Community of Practices (CoP).

Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Front End Focus) - Mandatory

Skills:



• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and its ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, Redux).

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Experience with micro frontend architecture migration and custom UI libraries (Material UI, Storybook).

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Playwright, and Selenium.

• Solid understanding of OAuth2 authorization and observability platforms.

• Backend knowledge including Node.js, Azure SQL, microservices, and Azure services (App Services, Functions, Blob Storage).

• CI/CD with Git/Azure Dev Ops.

Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Front End Focus) – Nice-to-Have

Skills:



• AGILE and Dev Ops mindset.

• Focus on continuous improvement, testing, and experimenting.

• A Graduate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.

• Technical certifications in application architecture, cloud development, and administration (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure developer).
