Delivery Driver

Regular delivery and pick up of Friendlier inventory from customers in the Ottawa and Quebec region.

• Deliveries and pick-ups of reusable containers from participating locations, while doing deliveries of new containers at the same time.
• Representing the Friendlier brand on all deliveries and pickups.
• Additional delivery/pickup support.
• Use software while on route to track deliveries and pickups.
• Work independently and efficiently.
• Conduct required checks and safety procedures.
• Work with incoming and outgoing facility team to facilitate smooth operations in logistics.

• Must be able to lift a 30-40 lb box repetitively.
• Motion Parameters:
  At times excessive stair climbing is required.
• Vision and Hearing Requirements:
  May be required to use a computer or tablet throughout the shift.
• Psychological Demands:
  Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Must have access to a smart phone for the duration of shifts.

• Must have previous service and delivery driving experience.
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience driving a Sprinter van.
• Strong customer service skills; outgoing and comfortable speaking with new people regularly.
• Able to take initiative and work individually.
• Able to work within a team environment.
• Able to adapt to varying responsibilities.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Professional and effective communication skills.
