Pepsi Co Foods Canada has a current opening at the Frito Lay Distribution Centre in Ottawa, ON for a Part Time Warehouse Technician.

The Role:

The Warehouse Technician will contribute to the success of Pepsi Co Foods Canada by playing a critical role in the “move” portion of our business. The Warehouse Technician will perform general warehouse duties involving the operation of an automated pick cart; building orders and loading trucks, delivering efficiency and accuracy targets, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Candidates will require flexible availability including weekdays, weekends, and evenings.

Responsibilities
  • Picks customer orders by full cases by voice or scanner
  • Picks customer orders by individual bag on Pre-pick module/cart
  • Loads route trucks with product using roller carts or by hand-bombing
  • Uploads cardboard and return product from route trucks into inventory
  • Stacks and bundles card boards
  • Performs general clean-up/sanitation duties including facility and ground appearance
  • Works in a safe manner utilizing safe lifting techniques
  • Attends regular scheduled team meetings
Qualifications
  • Completed high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as required
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Valid Class G driver's license with a clean driving record is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
