About the Role

The Assessment Coordinator will play a key role in the Assessment Content Production team, overseeing the administration and coordination of assessment processes. This includes managing logistics, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring workflows and documentation are up to date. This role requires close liaison with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact for item writers, supporting staff with travel and event arrangements, and ensuring smooth communication across teams.

In addition, you will manage commissioning schedules, payments, and content movement between functions, while supporting onboarding, office resourcing, and supplier coordination. You will also contribute to continuous improvement by updating induction processes, identifying efficiencies, and applying best practices from ELT publishing to assessment. Overall, the role combines administration, stakeholder management, logistics, and process improvement to ensure effective delivery of assessment content.

Please note, this is a 6-month fixed term contract. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office. This advert may close earlier than the stated deadline, so we encourage interested applicants to apply as soon as possible.

About You
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational or examination context.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure is desirable.
