Water Distribution Summer Students

Hours of work:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.

- 3:00 p.m. (40 hrs/week)

• Option of enrollment in OMERS defined benefit pension plan.

Traveling throughout the County. Fire hydrant maintenance, weed trimming, traffic control, completing excel spreadsheets, assisting staff with a variety of duties, including locating sanitary and water infrastructure. Working indoors and outdoors required.

• To be considered for a student position, you must currently be enrolled on a full-time basis at a post-secondary institution, and be returning to a post-secondary institution on a full-time basis in the fall of 2026.
• G2 or G driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Water Distribution and Supply and/or Wastewater Collection Operator-in-Training certification would be an asset.
• Hands on tool experience (while working outside).
