Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civils (Permanent)

You will be joining an established and well-respected Tier 1 contractor based in Swindon operating within the water industry. This multi-accredited and high-profile contractor delivers large-scale clean and waste water capital programmes for Thames Water and offers a strong pipeline of AMP8 works as well as excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are actively seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position based on site in the Thames Valley region with hybrid working.

Your new role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a £45m portfolio of clean and waste water pipeline and reservoir projects. You'll manage all commercial aspects of subcontract accounts, from procurement through to final account, while supporting project teams on large-scale capital programmes.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing monthly commercial reports and submitting AFPs
Managing subcontract accounts from procurement through to final settlement
Cash flow and cost/value forecasting
Supporting project teams on all commercial matters to ensure successful delivery.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will bring:

Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying (or similar) or experience equivalent
Proven experience with IChemE and/or NEC contracts and subcontract management
Sound negotiation, organisational and communication skills
Strong commercial acumen
Full UK driving licence.
