A well-established house builder is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their Commercial team, working across a portfolio of quality-driven residential developments in the Oxfordshire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded construction professional to join a forward-thinking developer with a strong local presence, a healthy pipeline, and a commitment to building sustainable communities — not just houses.

Key Responsibilities:

* Procuring construction materials and services across multiple live and planned residential sites.

* Negotiating prices, terms, and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.

* Managing procurement schedules and ensuring timely site deliveries.

* Monitoring cost performance and reporting against budgets.

* Working closely with site managers, surveyors, and technical teams to ensure procurement aligns with programme requirements.

* Supporting value engineering and buildability reviews.

* Tracking supplier performance and maintaining strong working relationships.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience in a Buyer role within residential construction or house building is essential.

* Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.

* Strong understanding of building materials and procurement processes.

* Organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with COINS or similar systems is desirable.

* Based within commutable distance to Oxford.
