An established architecture and interior design studio based in Oxford is looking for an Architect or experienced Part II Architectural Assistant to join its growing team.

This role is ideal for an Architect seeking to take the next step in responsibility for the delivery of projects, or a Part II candidate looking to gain valuable experience in the technical and construction stages of practice.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their career while working on a diverse range of exciting projects, including new homes, retrofit projects, and listed buildings, all with a strong emphasis on high‑quality, well‑crafted design.

The studio is seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals with excellent creative design skills and a strong eye for detail. The role is based in an open‑plan studio located in the centre of vibrant Oxford, offering a collaborative and engaging working environment.

The studio culture encourages open discussion and healthy debate throughout all stages of the design process. Projects are typically taken from initial sketch design through to completion, providing a rewarding opportunity to see designs realised on site.

There is a strong commitment to career development, with team members supported in taking a lead role on projects, particularly through the technical and construction stages. Applications are welcomed from candidates with a broad range of backgrounds.

What the studio can offer
  • The opportunity to be part of a small, close‑knit team delivering beautifully crafted architecture
  • A creative and supportive learning environment, with exposure to all project stages, including construction
  • A salary at or above RIBA salary guidelines (dependent on experience), plus an annual bonus
  • Financial support for Part II students completing their studies

Applicants are invited to submit a CV, a portfolio, and a covering letter outlining relevant experience and explaining why they believe they are a strong fit for the role.

Please note that the studio can only consider candidates who are legally eligible to work in the UK. Applicants applying from overseas should confirm that they hold a valid UK work permit.
