Overview

Element has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician - Lightning to join our Oxford facility. Due to the nature of our work, you must be a UK National. You will carry out testing and analysis on Fuel / Structural / Avionics aerospace systems for effects of lightning. You will join a growing specialist team, working for a leading Testing, Inspection and Certification company.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out testing, recording and assessing test data
  • Writing reports on the findings of the test and analysis programmes
  • Interact with customers on technical issues and questions
  • Supporting other members of the team in diverse test programmes
  • Maintenance of high current generator
Skills / Qualifications
  • Ideally you will have an engineering (STEM) sector background
  • Practical hands‑on approach, aptitude for experimental testing and problem solving
  • Knowledge of electrical systems would be beneficial but not a requirement
  • Possess good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • A Full UK driving licence
  • UK national for Security Clearance
