Oxford is looking for a highly motivated university student to complete a 1‑year industrial placement as part of their degree course, starting February 2025. The placement will be based in the Oxford office and will provide supervised, in‑house training across our finance function.

• Financial Reporting and Management Reporting
  • Financial and management reporting for a portfolio of UK commercial real estate investments
  • Month/quarter end review and reporting, including bank reconciliations, posting journal entries and VAT returns
  • Preparation of unaudited financial statements for certain legal entities and coordination of year‑end audits
• Financial Planning & Analysis and Operational Support
  • Review and analysis of annual operating plans and quarterly reforecasts with UK asset managers
  • Preparation of quarterly variance analysis
  • Assisting in operational support comprising accounts payable and payment processing as required
  • Responding to ad‑hoc requests from the wider business
• Process Innovation and Controls
  • Participation in projects with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with Oxford’s processes and controls

• You are a university student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Real Estate and are looking for an industrial placement. You have a logical and analytical mind, enjoy meeting people and can communicate clearly and easily.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proven financial analytical skills with attention to detail.
• A strong willingness to embrace collaborative sharing of knowledge within a teamwork environment, as well as a drive to deliver the highest performance through creative thinking.
