Management Accountant

Summary
We are looking for a newly-qualified or part-qualified Management Accountant.
The ideal candidate is a recently qualified accountant with experience producing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, ideally in the renewables or commercial sectors.

Our Client
Mackie Myers have partnered with a fast-growing renewables business in Oxfordshire to appoint a Management Accountant on a 12-month FTC.

The Role
In this role, you will support the finance function with management accounting and reporting, ensuring the business has timely and accurate financial information for decision-making.

Main Duties

• Prepare monthly management accounts and internal reporting packages

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Assist with cost analysis and project profitability reporting

• Work closely with operations and project teams to ensure accurate financial tracking

• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for senior management

The Successful Candidate

• Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) or newly qualified accountant

• Experience in management accounting, ideally in a commercial or renewable energy environment

• Strong Excel and accounting systems skills

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to communicate financial information clearly

• Proactive, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

What’s on Offer?
• £45,000-£50,000, depending on experience
