Summary
We are looking for a newly qualified Financial Reporting Accountant.
The ideal candidate is a recently qualified accountant with experience producing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and statutory reporting, ideally within manufacturing, automotive, or engineering sectors.
Our Client
Mackie Myers have partnered with a fast-growing automotive business in Oxford to appoint a Financial Reporting Accountant into their expanding finance team.
The Role
The Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for preparing group and subsidiary management accounts, supporting consolidation and statutory reporting, and providing financial insights to senior stakeholders. You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting strategic planning, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
Main Duties
Prepare group and subsidiary management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
Support financial consolidation and statutory reporting requirements
Provide departments with clear insights into their financial position and performance
Support senior stakeholders in delivering strategic and operational objectives
Drive continuous process improvement within the finance team
Provide insightful analysis to support business decision-making The Successful Candidate
Newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
Experience in financial reporting or management accounting, ideally in automotive, manufacturing, or engineering sectors
Strong analytical skills with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Proactive, solutions-focused, and motivated to grow within a fast-paced business What’s on Offer?
