Group FP&A Manager

Location: Oxfordshire

We are seeking a commercially focused Group FP&A Manager to take ownership of FP&A activities across the Group. This is a key role within the Group Finance team, responsible for budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and partnering with the business to support commercial decision-making. Working closely with the Finance Director and CFO, you will collaborate with teams across the globe to ensure the timely delivery of accurate, insightful and meaningful financial information.

A strong focus of the role will be on driving continuous improvements in reporting, processes and financial insight.

Key Responsibilities The role will include, but will not be limited to:
Full ownership of the Group budget and forecasting processes Ownership of Group project and cost centre reporting and analysis Preparation of month-end management accounts, CFO packs and supporting commentary Preparation and analysis of monthly Group margins, including reviewing results and constructively challenging the business Development and enhancement of Group financial dashboards and reporting tools Payroll and headcount analysis and reporting Supporting and driving system changes to improve efficiency and financial insight Business modelling and commercial/financial analysis, identifying variances, risks and opportunities Supporting the FD/CFO with acquisitions and/or fundraising activity, including financial integration where required Supporting the FD with month-end and year-end consolidation and Group reporting activities Providing consistent, high-quality financial support and analysis across the Group Key Relationships & Interfaces You will work closely with all areas of the business, including the Executive Team and global teams across Finance, Commercial and R&D.

Essential Skills & Experience This is a hands-on and varied role requiring flexibility, strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Essential requirements include: ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified Strong experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Proven ability to prepare accurate, meaningful and insightful financial information

Experience with project reporting and margin analysis Experience designing and producing management reporting and financial dashboards High level of IT literacy with a proactive approach to improving systems, processes and reporting A change-driven mindset with the ability to make a tangible impact Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to perform under pressure, both independently and as part of a team Confident, proactive self-starter with strong presentation skills Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of seniority Desirable Skills & Experience Experience in a Technology/Project/manufacturing environment, including stock and WIP

Experience with SAP Business One and BI reporting tools Experience working within multi-currency, cross-border Group structures

Experience of system implementations and process design
