The Role Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to cover Oxfordshire, with a strong focus on hospital and healthcare sites.
This role is suited to a knowledgeable assessor who is confident working in complex healthcare environments and has a deep understanding of HTM guidance and healthcare-specific regulations. All risk assessments are self-written, and the business ensures proper time is allocated for both site work and detailed, high-quality reporting—no rushed assessments.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out Legionella risk assessments across hospitals and healthcare facilities
Apply expert knowledge of HTMand associated healthcare guidance
Produce clear, detailed, and fully compliant written risk assessments
Identify risks and provide practical, compliant recommendations
Liaise professionally with hospital estates teams and internal stakeholders
Ensure all work complies with ACOP L8, HSG
274, HTM guidance, and company standards
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor
Extensive experience assessing hospitals and healthcare environments
Strong working knowledge of HTM regulations, particularly HTM 04-01
Ability to write high-quality, detailed risk assessments independently
Excellent attention to detail and report-writing skills
Professional and confident approach when working on sensitive sites
Full UK driving licence
