Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and practical Caretaker to join the Maintenance team at d’Overbroeck’s. The role is based across multiple sites in Oxford and plays a key part in ensuring the school environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for all students, staff, and visitors.

• Inspect school buildings and grounds for potential hazards and maintain them accordingly.

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including cleaning, minor repairs, and upkeep of school facilities.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and report any concerns to the relevant authorities.

• Cooperate with staff and visitors to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

• Reliable, proactive, and practical attitude.
• Basic mechanical and maintenance skills.
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory criminal record checks.
