About the Role

Dream Medical is collaborating with a Private Hospital in Oxford to recruit an exceptional part-time Lead Cardiology Nurse. The successful candidate will inspire others and uphold the highest standards of patient care.

Hospital Overview

The hospital is purpose-built with 64 beds, 8 theatres, an intensive care unit, and other state-of-the-art facilities. You will work alongside leading surgeons across various disciplines, including orthopaedics, cardiothoracic, and neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

Lead by example and serve as an ambassador for patient care standards.

Report to the Cardiac & Diagnostic Services Manager and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Manage the delivery of high-quality cardiology outpatient services.

Support interventional cardiology procedures, radiology interventions, and cardiac pre-assessment and post-operative care.

Act as a clinical expert in cardiology nursing, ensuring evidence-based practice and policy adherence.

Assist with scheduling, planning, and rotas.

Support training and clinical competence across departments.

Serve as deputy to the head of department and infection prevention link nurse.

Ensure efficient work practices and protocols.
