Java Developer sought by UK SaaS technology company, scaling at pace & looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a small, yet experienced team to lead from the front on new feature development.

Your coding will influence thousands of users across our platform & we love to innovate by giving our development team the ability to make & influence architectural decisions.

HQ is in Oxfordshire, but this role & the team can & do operate remotely if needed. You'd need to be open to some office visits in the Oxford area though.

£60K Basic + Benefits package

• Lead & mentor a small development team. You may have some experience already, or want to progress in your career to a more senior/lead type role.
• Proven experience in designing and building scalable, and maintainable applications using Java (Java 8+, with experience or a strong desire to work with Java 21) and Spring Boot.
• Understanding and hands‑on experience with a range of core AWS services.
• Software Development Best Practices: A strong commitment to writing clean, well‑tested, secure, and maintainable code. Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working with teams in building web applications using React and/or JavaScript on the client‑side.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker & IaC tools like AWS Cloud Formation.
