Software Engineer

Overview

Join our growing software team to implement data processing software and data capture control systems, as well as analytical and visualisation tools. You will work across the full development lifecycle, from design to deployment, collaborating with data scientists and hardware engineers to turn prototypes into production solutions. We are looking for a passionate software engineer who embraces best practices, thrives on technical challenges and wants to make a real impact.

Previous commercial software development experience typically acquired over 2-5 years, comprising:

• Strong understanding of the .NET framework, C# and OOP.
• Proficiency in Database design and SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Developing and debugging Windows applications using IDEs (Visual Studio).
• Version control systems (Git).
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• Python
• Agile experience
• Linux familiarity
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• CI/CD
• Exposure to hardware integration and machine learning

• Genuinely passionate about the role.
• Willing to share ideas and add value.
• Keen to help shape how the Software Team operates within the company.
• A strong sense of curiosity, openness to feedback and attention to detail.
• Able to learn new software and technologies quickly.
