Role:
Coach

Salary: from £24,570 - £26,390

Are you someone who leads with kindness, thrives in inclusive environments, and wants to make a real impact on others' lives? At our gym, we're more than just a place to train — we're a community built on connection, support, and growth. Our core values of Kindness, Inclusivity, Community, and Impact are not just words on a wall — they guide everything we do.

As a Coach, you’ll play a key part in our mission to create a welcoming and empowering space for every member who walks through our doors. Whether you're leading a class, offering 1 : 1 guidance, or writing a blog post — your role is about building people up.

Responsibilities
  • 1 : 1 Coaching Sessions – Guide members through personalised training that supports their goals and makes them feel seen, heard, and empowered.
  • Group Classes (up to 10 people) – Lead small group sessions across a variety of formats — from Strength and Hybrid to Core & Mobility, Cardio, and Boxing — where no one gets lost in the crowd and everyone feels supported.
  • Trial Member Support – Be a friendly, encouraging presence as new members explore our gym. Help them feel confident and connected from day one.
  • Championing Health, Safety & Cleanliness – Help us maintain a space that’s not just motivating, but safe and spotless. You’ll follow our health & safety procedures, assist with data management, and keep the gym clean and welcoming.
  • Driving Inclusivity – You’ll actively work to ensure our space is welcoming for everyone. This means recognising and removing barriers, challenging assumptions, and being intentional about inclusion — always.
  • Working on Social Impact Projects – Play a hands-on role in our initiatives that go beyond the gym — projects that focus on equity, accessibility, and real social change. Whether it's outreach programs, free community classes, or partnerships with local organisations, you’ll help create meaningful impact beyond our four walls.
  • Content Creation – Share your insights and passion through blog and social media posts. From fitness tips to community stories, your words will help inspire and inform.
  • Business & Peer Growth – We want you to bring your full self to this role. Use your unique strengths — whether it’s communication, creativity, leadership, or technical knowledge — to help grow the business and uplift your fellow coaches.

We believe in fair pay, transparency, and recognising growth. That’s why we have a clear three-tiered coaching structure based on your experience, qualifications, and contribution:

Coach Tiers
  • Coach – Starting salary from £24,570 - £26,390
  • Senior Coach – Based on demonstrated skill, leadership, and experience
  • Head Coach – For those who lead others, innovate, and drive wider impact

In addition to your base salary, you can offer personal training, where you’ll keep 50% of the PT fee — with your rate increasing as you advance. We review coaching levels every four months, giving you regular opportunities to grow, develop, and be recognised for your contribution. We review our pay structure every year.

Key qualities we’re looking for
  • Someone who leads with empathy and treats every member with kindness, regardless of experience, background, or ability.
  • A team player who sees the value in working together and supporting others’ growth.
  • A lifelong learner who's excited to evolve alongside a forward-thinking gym.
  • A voice for inclusion — someone who wants to challenge the fitness industry's norms and build something better.
  • A change maker who believes fitness can be a vehicle for real-world impact.
  • Minimum level 2 qualified in fitness.

If you're ready to coach in a space where people come first and where your impact goes far beyond the workout, we’d love to hear from you.
