Contracts Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts / Construction Manager to play a key role in the development and growth of a new Industrial Refit division within the business. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward‑thinking professional who wants to help shape processes, drive standards and oversee multiple construction projects from inception to completion.

• Assist in developing the new Industrial Refit division, with a focus on compliance, supply chain and commercial aspects
• Oversee the delivery of several projects, reporting directly to the Directors
• Take off materials well in advance of site requirements and liaise with the buying department for procurement
• Liaise with client teams and chair site meetings as required
• Develop and manage detailed project programmes
• Monitor and drive programmes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure on‑time completion
• Monitor quality of workmanship and manage snagging to achieve handover
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with Employer's Requirements and meet or exceed client expectations
• Manage Contract Instructions, Technical Submittals and RFIs
• Utilise construction management software packages effectively
• Proactively identify and resolve issues, planning ahead to minimise risk

• Must have proven experience in a Contracts Manager / Construction Manager role in the Industrial Refit Industry
• Forward thinking with a proactive approach to problem solving
• Able to work under own initiative as well as part of a collaborative team
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
