Job Description
You will become a member of a highly specialized application engineering team, enabling customers using Infineon’s automotive software.
In your new role you will:
Be the go-to person for your worldwide customers  and Infineon’s  Field Application Engineers (FAEs) , analyzing and answering technical requests and repeating findings in the lab
Be responsible for enabling our customers’ applications  using Infineon’s  microcontroller software products
Train  FAEs  or  customers  in the area of your technical expertise
Support  software design-in  at our customers with detailed product expertise of Infineon’s 32bit microcontrollers
Strive to constantly and consistently  exceed our customers’ expectations  by providing  technical support from product to system-level,  including software
Conduct  development and feasibility studies  on embedded software applications
Compile technical concepts and application documentation
Collaborate  and  share your knowledge  with R&D
Your Profile
As a proactive and enthusiastic team player, you'll leverage your strong communication skills to actively listen to customers, balance their needs with Infineon's interests, and drive solutions that exceed their expectations. With a flexible and adaptable mindset, you'll stay focused on continuous improvement, tackling complex problems with ease and enthusiasm. By being personally committed to customer success, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
A degree in Electronic / Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science, ideally with a focus on  software aspects of embedded systems
Professional experience with  devices  in the  automotive domain
Knowledge in  embedded software development using C , with experience working with hardware
An understanding of (automotive)  communication protocols  and (real-time)  operating systems
Availability to travel occasionally
Fluency in English
