This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a small, friendly, family-owned business that values quality, teamwork and long-term career development. The company delivers mechanical and technical services to domestic and commercial clients across the South West and is looking to expand its professional engineering team.

Key Responsibilities Commercial Gas Engineer

  • Plant room installations and system upgrades carried out by the Commercial Gas Engineer
  • Planned preventative maintenance visits on commercial sites
  • Reactive fault finding and repairs on gas and heating systems
  • Ensuring all work complies with current regulations, legislation and best practice
  • Delivering a consistently high standard of customer service

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be trusted to manage your workload efficiently while representing the company in a professional manner at all times.

Skills & Experience Required Commercial Gas Engineer

  • Minimum of three years experience in a similar Commercial Gas Engineer role
  • Strong knowledge of gas servicing and repairs in both domestic and commercial environments
  • Commercial Gas Safe ACS qualifications (essential)
  • OFTEC certification (desirable)
  • NVQ Level 3 (desirable but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Clear DBS and valid CSCS card

Salary & Benefits Commercial Gas Engineer

  • £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and certifications
  • Company pension scheme

  • 32 days paid holiday, including statutory holidays, plus your birthday off and an additional day s holiday for every four years of service

Working Hours Commercial Gas Engineer

  • Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm
  • Participation in an on-call rota (one week in seven)
