Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions;
Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing and Maintenance. We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Coordinator to support the smooth delivery of repairs and maintenance services within our Maintenance Division. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of daily coordination, ensure works are scheduled efficiently, and play a key role in keeping our projects running effectively and our clients well supported.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Raising new maintenance jobs and ensuring all details are accurately entered into the system
  • Scheduling survey appointments and coordinating access with tenants, clients, and operatives
  • Carrying out initial site surveys where required and capturing all relevant information
  • Updating the client portal regularly and arranging appointments with other contractors as needed
  • Preparing and submitting scopes of work, photos, and supporting information
  • Providing material specifications and information to clients when requested
  • Coordinating procurement of materials and engaging sub-contractors in line with approved scopes
  • Creating programmes of works, scheduling labour, and ensuring operatives have clear instructions
  • Providing regular job status updates to clients and handling day-to-day queries throughout the process
  • Communicating effectively with operatives to ensure smooth delivery of works
  • Supporting compliance with health & safety requirements through accurate information and coordination
  • Updating and assisting with monthly cost information for ongoing jobs
  • Coordinating completion of repairs, ensuring final scope is met, obtaining client sign-off, and issuing final invoices
  • Actively supporting the company’s Customers 1st campaign and continually looking for ways to improve the customer experience

The Candidate

  • Have an understanding of Microsoft Project and Office packages.
  • Have a high level of Health & Safety Awareness.
  • Have excellent Communication Skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong IT skills and contract administration skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate that they can meet programme dates.
  • Be able to take a project right from estimate to invoicing.
